Meet Kenneth W. Nelson, D.D.S. Dr. Nelson Dr. Nelson graduated at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. For a six year term, Dr. Nelson served as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This summer, he begins his 30th year of comprehensive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Wichita.

Meet Roy E. Cole, D.D.S., M.D.

2Dr. ColeDr. Cole is a native of Towanda, Kansas and received his Dental and Medical Training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Schools of Dentistry and Medicine. He completed his residency training at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Cole completed board certification in 2005. He and his wife live in Andover, Kansas with their three children.

Meet Remy H. Blanchaert, Jr., D.D.S, M.D. Dr. Blanchaert Dr. Blanchaert received his undergraduate dental training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut. He received fellowship training in Maxillofacial Oncology and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Maryland. He gained valuable experience as well through traveling rotations to centers of excellence in head and neck surgery and reconstruction. He was fortunate to begin his academic surgery career at the University of Maryland immediately following his fellowship training. Four valuable years of service to the University of Maryland were followed by a return to Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Blanchaert served the University of Missouri-Kansas City Schools of Dentistry and Medicine for an additional two and one-half years as Associate Professor before entering private practice.

Dr. Blanchaert enjoys the opportunity to utilize his training and experience in the provision of direct patient care as well as through the conduct of continuing education programs. He has lectured internationally on a wide range of topics critical to OMS. Frequent topics of these invited lectures are; dental implant reconstruction, ambulatory anesthesia, and pathology & reconstruction.

Meet Jonas A. Lichty, D.D.S, M.D. dr-lichty Dr. Lichty is a native of Quinter, Kansas. He attended McPherson College, graduating with a degree in Chemistry. As part of his college experience, he studied a semester in Quito, Ecuador, matriculating with a good command of Spanish. Dr. Lichty received his dental degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, and his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He then went on to complete his general surgery internship and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Alabama.

Dr. Lichty practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including tooth extraction, placement of dental implants, bone grafting, management of facial trauma, corrective and reconstructive jaw surgery, removal of cysts and tumors of the face and jaws, pediatric oral and facial surgery and sleep apnea surgery.

During his free time, Dr. Lichty enjoys spending time with his wife Beth and their two boys, exercising, reading, and traveling.
